Other Required Training
State-specific Annuity Suitability Training
- This document, Form 9163, provides the annuity training requirements by state.
- Please refer to this chart and provide the necessary certifications. If submitting a 1CE certification, include proof of prior completion of 4CE annuity suitability training. The 1CE option is available only to producers who have completed this training previously; otherwise, a 4CE annuity suitability course is required.
Anti-Money Laundering Training (aml.limra.com)
- Provide proof of training completion within the past two years.
- If training was more than two years ago, LIMRA anti-money laundering training must be completed for which producers are enrolled by the company at no cost to them.
- Producers will be notified via email when it is time to complete training. No attempt should be made to access LIMRA AML training before receiving this email message.
- The training username is the producer’s national producer number (NPN).
- The training password is the producer’s entire last name in lowercase letters. If a LIMRA AML training course has been completed in the past, the password created at that time should be used.
- Producers may look up their NPN on the National Insurance Producer Registry website at nipr.com/licensing-center under Helpful Tools.
- If a LIMRA AML course has been previously completed, the producer will be enrolled for the LIMRA “Anti-Money Laundering for Insurance Review – Knowing Your Customer in a Digital World” course. If a LIMRA AML course has not been completed in the past, the producer will be enrolled for the “Anti-Money Laundering for Insurance Producers” course.
