Baltimore Life Appoints Azuwuike Ndukwu to Board of Directors

OWINGS MILLS, Md, September 4, 2019—The Baltimore Life Insurance Co. announced the appointment of Azuwuike “Az” Ndukwu to its board of directors effective August 2, 2019. Ndukwu was formerly the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Algeco Scotsman Group,
Ndukwu joined Baltimore’s Algeco Scotsman Group in 2011, following a 22 year career at United Technologies Corporation and its subsidiary, Carrier Corporation in various senior executive global roles in legal and strategic planning in Latin America, Asia, Europe, and North America. He was a former member of the University of Hartford Art School board of trustees, NAACP board, and former chairperson for the Connecticut Bar Association’s Committee for the Advancement of Minorities in the Legal Profession, and former President of the Crawford Law Association.

Ndukwu earned his MBA in finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and business administration and management from Michigan State University.
