BALTIMORE, MD, MAY 7, 2010—The National Organization of Sierra Leoneans in North America (NOSLINA) will honor Baltimore Life insurance agent Clifford Sawyer with the prestigious Entrepreneurial Leadership Award on Saturday, May 8 at 8 p.m. at the Best Western Hotel in Lanham, Md.

NOSLINA is a non-profit organization formed 12 years ago by Sierra Leoneans living in the Washington, D.C. area to help campaign for an end to their home country’s civil war and to promote sustainable development and democracy. Each year the organization solicits nominations from across North America of Sierra Leoneans who have excelled in enhancing the well-being of their countrymen. The Entrepreneurial Leadership Award is the organization’s highest award for positive engagement with the community in ways that have benefited Sierra Leoneans.
