DAVID K. FICCA

President & Chief Executive Officer

David K. Ficca joined The Baltimore Life Companies in 2002 as the company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He was elected to the position of President in May 2009, and is the 11th President of the country's 36th oldest life insurance company.

Mr. Ficca brought more than 17 years of public accounting experience to his position with Baltimore Life, with 13 of those years dedicated to the insurance industry.

Mr. Ficca also serves as an adjunct professor of auditing at Georgetown University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is actively involved in Special Olympics Maryland as a coach and supporter. He resides in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with his wife and four sons.
