Baltimore Life Joins Life Industry's Tsunami Relief Efforts

For Immediate Release

OWINGS MILLS, MD, MARCH 1, 2005—The tsunami disaster that took the lives of so many people and changed the lives of countless more is one of unparalleled proportions. For those of us living a world away from those countries bordering the Indian Ocean, the magnitude of human suffering is most likely beyond our ability to comprehend.

People and organizations from all over the globe are reaching out to provide assistance to the victims. The life insurance industry, through the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Foundation, invited its members to join in one centralized industry effort through donations to the Life Insurance Industry Tsunami Relief Fund.

Baltimore Life has a long-standing tradition of helping those in need. It's a part of who we are. This disaster is yet another opportunity for us to reach out to so many of our fellow human beings who are in such desperate need.

As part of this effort, Baltimore Life agreed to match all contributions made by its own associates. The contribution, in turn, was matched by the MDRT Foundation. As is the tradition, Baltimore Life associates came through in dramatic fashion.

We thank the MDRT Foundation for their generosity and are proud to have joined forces with the life insurance industry in sending aid to those affected by this catastrophe.
