The American College Honors Cindy Meitzler

OWINGS MILLS, MD, DECEMBER 15, 2004—The American College has announced that Cindy Meitzler, LUTCF, has been named as a recipient of The College's 2004 Ernest E. Cragg Ambassador Award. Meitzler, one of fourteen Cragg Ambassador Award honorees, was honored at the annual convention and career conference of The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Ernest E. Cragg Ambassador Award, created in 1994, is presented annually to individuals who have lent the LUTC program unequaled support during a single year. The recipients are recognized for the positive impact they have had on their local LUTC programs or on their companies' efforts to promote LUTC to their field force.

Cindy Meitzler entered the insurance industry in 1986 as a health insurance claims adjustor. She joined Baltimore Life in 1996 and earned the "Rookie of the Year" award. In 2001, she was promoted to her current position of Assistant Manager of The Baltimore Life Companies—Lehigh Valley Agency. In addition to her insurance license, Cindy also holds Series 6 and 63 licenses.

Cindy Meitzler's industry involvement includes being the Pennsylvania Regional Director for The American College's LUTC Fellow program, the Professional Development Committee Chairperson for the Pennsylvania Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and Second Vice President of the local Lehigh Valley Association.
