Baltimore Life Manager earns top Leadership Award from International Insurance Association

For Immediate Release

OWINGS MILLS, MD, OCTOBER 23, 2007—Baltimore Life announced today that Phil Trasatt, CSA, LUTFC, manager of Baltimore Life’s Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania Agency has once again earned a top leadership award from GAMA International, a worldwide professional association serving 5,500 field managers in the insurance and financial services industry.

GAMA’s James H. Krueger “First in Class Award” is given annually to life insurance and financial services managers who have led their agencies or offices to the top-performing position within their companies. This is the third year Trasatt has earned the award for his individual leadership and agency success, which he also received in 2001 and 2004.

“Phil epitomizes leadership,” said Damian Salvi, vice president of Baltimore Life’s Team Advantage Sales Division. “His ability to inspire and lead agents and agency associates is a source of great pride for our company.”

Trasatt received his plaque in March during GAMA’s 2007 Leadership and Management Program in San Francisco.

About GAMA International and “First in Class Award”

Now in its sixth year, the “First in Class Award” is named in honor of James H. Krueger for his uncommon leadership as GAMA’s 55th president and dedicated service as a board member, committee chair and local chapter president. According to GAMA, “The award is a way to recognize the insurance and financial services industry’s most valuable asset—outstanding individual leadership.
