Baltimore Life Elects New Vice President Insurance Services

OWINGS MILLS, MD, FEBRUARY 8, 2006—The Baltimore Life Board of Directors has elected Antionette R. Schuster, CLU, FLMI, ACS, AIRC, PCS as Vice President, Insurance Services.

In her new position, Schuster will be responsible for Underwriting, New Business, Customer Service, and Claims.

“Toni brings a wealth of skills and experience to her new role,” said L. John Pearson, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Baltimore Life. “She’ll be a great addition to our executive team.”

Schuster joined Baltimore Life in April 2000 as Manager of Model Office. Before officially joining the Company, she was working on-site as a consultant with Fiserv NDP assisting Baltimore Life with the implementation of the ID3 policy administration system. She was appointed Assistant Vice President–Service and Quality Assurance in 2001.

Schuster began her life insurance career in 1979 with The Shelby Life Insurance Company in Shelby, Ohio. There she held various administrative and management positions leading up to an appointment as Assistant Vice President in charge of Shelby Life’s implementation of the policy administration system. In 1992, she joined NDP as a Product Marketing Consultant, and later, in 1997, founded her own consulting group aimed at assisting life companies with model office support, establishment and documentation of procedures, and training.

In addition to her many years of industry experience, Schuster studied business administration at Ohio State University and has earned numerous insurance designations, including CLU, FLMI, ACS, AIRC (Associate, Insurance Regulatory Compliance) and PCS (Professional, Customer Service).
