Baltimore Life Names Baranchak Sales Manager

For Immediate Release

OWINGS MILLS, MD, SEPTEMBER 20, 2005—John M. Baranchak has been named Sales Manager of the Northwest Penn Agency of The Baltimore Life Insurance Company, announced G. Edward Hughes, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. In his role, Baranchak will focus on recruiting and training new agents.

Baranchak was born in Philipsburg, spent most of his youth in Butler, and earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He has been in the insurance business for four years. Prior to entering the insurance arena, he was a self-employed business owner for 13 years.

"John has quickly assumed a leadership role in the life insurance business, and has the skills and energy we are looking for to help Baltimore Life's Northwest Penn Agency grow and thrive," said Damian A. Baranchak lives in Butler, PA, with his wife Lisa, and two sons, Matthew and Luke. He is very active in youth sports through the Butler Township Baseball organization.
