Baltimore Life Appoints Christine J. Warren as New General Counsel

OWINGS MILLS, MD, APRIL 7, 2003—L. John Pearson, Chairman, President and CEO of The Baltimore Life Insurance Company, has announced the hiring of Christine J. Warren as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary.

Chris has 11 years of legal experience, including five years with the law firm Venable LLP in the Corporate and Real Estate practice groups and six years in the life insurance industry with Fidelity and Guaranty Life Insurance Company.

A native of Baltimore, Chris completed her undergraduate studies at Howard University, in Washington, DC. She is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, in Austin, Texas.

Chris is a member of both the American Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association. She is a member of the Board of the Maryland Committee for Children, a Maryland non-profit organization, where she is the Chair of their Nominating Committee. Chris also serves on the Peer Review Committee of the Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland.

Chris lives in Owings Mills, MD, with her husband and son.
