Grants Program

Each year The Baltimore Life Companies award $500 grants to multiple non-profit organizations serving Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and the surrounding communities.

Special consideration will be given to projects and programs that enhance family, safety, and community issues. This program provides grants to organizations certified by the Internal Revenue Service as not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organizations. In addition, the program will consider organizations under the direction of governmental agencies, such as public libraries, senior centers, homeless shelters, and similar organizations.

“Our grants program is intended to support ambitious, community-based organizations, especially those focused on local initiatives,” said L. John Pearson, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of The Baltimore Life Companies. “In the nine years we have sponsored the program, our support has aided hundreds of organizations that improve the quality of life for many thousands of people in the communities where our employees live and work.”
